Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This site (seyhunakyurek.com) is the personal portfolio of Seyhun Akyurek — AI Architect & Delivery Lead for regulated industries (banks, fintech, enterprise) based in Dubai, UAE. I operate as an implementation partner for multi-agent AI systems, not an advisory-only practice. All engagements start with a free 20-minute discovery call and a 48-hour workflow ROI map. For questions about this policy, use /contact or email via the contact form. No data is sold, and no personal data is shared without consent except as described below.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you voluntarily provide and what is necessary to operate the site: (a) contact form data (name, email, company, message) submitted via the embedded form on /contact (powered by YouForm — see their privacy policy for form handling); (b) Cal.com scheduling data if you book a call; (c) analytics events (page views, outbound clicks, CTA interactions) via privacy-respecting analytics if enabled; (d) technical logs (IP, user-agent, request path) retained briefly by the hosting provider (Vercel) for security and debugging. We do not collect payment card data on this site — engagements are invoiced separately.

3. How we use data

Contact submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule the free assessment, and deliver the promised 48-hour ROI roadmap. Analytics are used to understand which pages and offers perform, improve content, and reduce friction in the contact flow. Logs are used for abuse prevention, rate limiting, and reliability monitoring. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or to train AI models.

4. Cookies & storage

The site uses strictly necessary client-side storage (localStorage) for UI preferences such as dark mode. The YouForm embed and Cal.com widgets may set their own cookies when you interact with them — those are governed by their respective policies. No advertising cookies are set by this site. You can clear storage in your browser settings at any time.

5. Sharing & processors

We share data only with processors needed to run the site: hosting (Vercel), form handling (YouForm), scheduling (Cal.com), and analytics (if configured). Each processor acts under its own terms. We disclose data only when required by UAE law or to enforce our rights. All processors are instructed to handle data securely and delete it on request where technically feasible.

6. Data retention

Contact messages are retained for 24 months after last contact, or until you request deletion — whichever is shorter. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for 26 months. Server logs are retained for 30–90 days by the hosting platform, then purged automatically. Backups follow the same retention.

7. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), GDPR where applicable, and similar regimes, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at /contact. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, HSTS, and Vercel-managed infrastructure. API endpoints apply rate limiting (see /developers and the RateLimit response headers documented in openapi.json) and return structured JSON errors on failure. We monitor for abuse and rotate credentials regularly.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. Review /about and /contact for context on how we work.
